Restrict access to Shopify store files, directories, etc. based on user session, user's role, membership, or any
other custom criteria.
The Shopify File Restriction application may be used to create limits that only enable access customers to view
specific files. This is particularly useful for retailers who want to restrict the availability of specific items to
specific consumer groups, such as VIPs or loyal customers.
The Shopify File Restriction app may be used to implement geolocation limits that can be used to limit the access of
specific files in specific countries. This is ideal for store owners who want to limit the availability of their
files to specific nations, states, or cities.
Lock Criteria
Based on the criteria you can restrict users from accessing the file such as users must be logged in to access
the files,
users must have specific customer tags to access the file, users have a passcode to access the file, or users
must be from a specific location to access the file.
