  • For setting up the miniOrange BuddyPress/BuddyBoss add-on you must have the BuddyPress/BuddyBoss plugin activated and set up on your WordPress site as per steps given below:
    • miniOrange BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Integrator allows you to map the attributes received from the IDP to the BuddyPress/BuddyBoss user profile attributes.
      • Navigate to the Users tab >> Profile Fields subtab from the left panel.

      • Click on the Add New Field button to enter your field names.

      • Go to the miniOrange WordPress Single Sign-On (SSO) plugin. Select your Identity Provider from the list.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - Select Identity Provider to Configure
      • Complete the Identity Provider configuration by following the mentioned steps in our setup guide. After saving the configurations, click on Select an Action >> Test Configuration. Now, you'll be able to see the Attribute List table with the columns ATTRIBUTE NAME and ATTRIBUTE VALUE.

      • Now, go to the BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Integrator add-on.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - BuddyPress Integrator
      • Add multiple custom attribute mapping fields by clicking the + button.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - BuddyPress Attribute Fields
      • Select BuddyPress Attribute from the dropdown.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - BuddyPress Attribute Values
      • Enter ATTRIBUTE NAME in the IDP Attribute fields from the Attribute List table sent by Identity Provider.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - Save BuddyPress Configurations
      • Click on the Save button to save the Buddypress Configuration.
      • Now, when a user performs SSO on your site, the IDP attributes will get mapped to that user’s BuddyPress/BuddyBoss profile as per the mapping provided in the miniOrange BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Integrator add-on.
      • Navigate to Users tab >> All Users subtab from the left panel.

      • From the Users, click on the user who logged in using IDP credentials.
      • WordPress Buddypress/BuddyBoss Integration - User Logged In Using IDP Credentials
      • Click on the Extended Profile tab to see the user attributes and values sent by IDP.
