SSO was working fine initially but now I am getting redirecting to /Password page as I perform SSO.
This happens when the store password is changed and you are using the Complete Store Protection User feature. To make SSO work again, Click on the lock-shaped icon in the address bar of the browser and then click on cookies. After that click on a tab with a name similar to your store domain and then click on the submenu – Cookies. Now search for the storefront_digest variable and then click on it. After that, you can see its value under the content section as shown below. Copy this value. Paste the storefront_digest cookie value in the store access cookie section as shown below and then click on the Save button and your SSO will work again.
After performing SSO, I want my customers to redirect to collections or discount offer page.
After you set up SSO, it is possible to redirect the customers to any page of your choice. Navigate to SSO – Single Sign On application. Scroll down to the “Post Login Setting” section. Enter the endpoint in this section where you want your customers to be redirected and save your configurations.
I have a successful test connection of IDP but when I perform SSO it says “Invalid App Configurations”?
The reason for this may be that your primary domain would be different than your Shopify domain. To check your primary domain and make SSO work, Copy the URL from the Shopify admin dashboard screen to myshoipfy.com. Open a new tab and hit the copied URL. If you see a different URL, then this is your primary domain URL, If you see the same URL, then there is no need for any configuration. Copy the URL and paste it into the Domain settings section of Single Sign On – SSO Application & save your configurations.
How can I map different attributes of my IdP?
From Admin Dashboard, Navigate to Single Sign On – SSO Application and select Attribute Mapping. Enter the attribute values or ‘keys’ like email, first name, last name, etc from your Identity provider to map them into your store’s customer profile and save your configurations.
Thank you for your response. We will get back to you soon.
