Key Features
Automatic Sync to Salesforce
Object Sync for Salesforce allows automatic synchronization of Joomla objects with Salesforce records and vice versa. Any changes made to Joomla objects like users, pages, posts, articles, etc. will be reflected in Salesforce, and vice versa.

1. Joomla E-commerce Site Integration with Salesforce
To sync Orders, Products, and Customer Data in Salesforce for an E-commerce site built with HikaShop, VirtueMart, J2Store, and MijoShop plugins.
Requirements:
Joomla Salesforce Integration: Connect the Joomla site to Salesforce in order to sync the Joomla E-commerce site orders, purchases, history, and customer details in Salesforce based on the information sent or updated by Joomla.
- Sync Order/Customer data from the Joomla site into Salesforce objects.
- Sync order details into respective Salesforce objects after filling in the details on the checkout page.

2. Sync Joomla Passwords into Salesforce
To create a Joomla site that is accessible to Salesforce community users with their Salesforce credentials, and enable users to log in to the Salesforce community using the same password entered during the registration process.
Requirements:
- Joomla Salesforce Password Sync: Sync Joomla passwords into Salesforce so that users can use the same password to log in to the Joomla site and the Salesforce community.
- Add new community users from the Joomla dashboard. People can register from the self-registration page on the Joomla site and be added to Salesforce as community portal users, and their onboarding email will be sent by Salesforce.
- Set up Joomla as a portal from where users can register and, after authentication, can access the Salesforce Community Portal.
- Enable SSO into Joomla to access the Salesforce Community Portal.

To achieve this objective, we have used Joomla OAuth Single Sign-On (SSO) with Joomla Salesforce Integrator.
- Connect Joomla and Salesforce using the miniOrange Joomla OAuth SSO plugin.
- Set up password sync so that Joomla passwords are synced to Salesforce, and users can log in to the Salesforce community using the same password.
- Add new community users from the Joomla dashboard, and ensure that they are added to Salesforce as community portal users.
- Create a self-registration page on the Joomla site, and ensure that users are added to Salesforce and receive their onboarding email.
- Set up Joomla as a portal from where users can register, and after authentication, can access the Salesforce Community Portal.
- Enable SSO into Joomla to access the Salesforce Community Portal.
3. Sync Data from Salesforce to Joomla using Salesforce Workflow Automation (Real-time sync)
Scenario:
A Customer wants to sync data from Salesforce in real-time.
Implementation:
This use-case can be satisfied with miniOrange Joomla Salesforce Object sync plugin. This plugin enables that Joomla site to receive data from Salesforce in real-time and stores it in the appropriate Joomla objects. To send data from Salesforce to Joomla, we make use of the Salesforce Flows automation feature. You can create a flow in Salesforce that will send data to your Joomla site as soon as it is created or updated in Salesforce. Salesforce Flows also allow you to add certain criteria/conditions to be met before the data is sent over. This enables data filtering, ensuring that only the required data is sent to your Joomla site.
