Password Policy Manager for Joomla

Force a specific set of users to create strong passwords according to the password policy set by the admin on their first login to maintain strong Password Security.

Prevent a user from reusing the same old passwords. You can configure the number of previous passwords that cannot be reused and restrictt the use of previous passwords.

The admin has a fantastic tool at their disposal to acquire information about users activity, such as their last login time, last time the user logged in, last time they changed their password, observe the users password strength and many more.

If you enable this feature a random password generator button will be shown on the password reset screen to create strong and complex alphanumeric passwords to secure your accounts from brute force attacks.

This function locks users who have been inactive for a predetermined period of time automatically. The period of inactivity after which a user will be locked can be customized.

With this feature admin can terminate all logged-in sessions for the users and resets their password with just one click in case of any suspicious activity.

The admin can redirect their users to a different custom URL after successful password reset using this feature.

You can also have time based expiration using our Password Policy manager plugin to improve Password Security. The admin can set a defined amount of time (days, weeks or months) after the completion of which, the user’s password will expire and they will have to create a new password.

Enforce all users/specific roles to create strong passwords according to the set password policy, which includes a specific custom length of password, certain numeric, upper and lower case letters, and special characters ($,#,%) in order to improve password security for your Joomla website.

You can further improve your website security by enabling/disabling the forgot password link. The users can reach out to you to change their password in this case.
