360Learning Single Sign-On with WordPress as OAuth Server

WordPress OAuth Server plugin enables Single Sign-On (SSO) into the 360learning using your WordPress username and password. Once you configure the 360learning with WP OAuth Server plugin, you can login to your 360learning application using WP credentials. OAuth Server plugin also allows you to send custom WordPress user attributes to your 360learning app as per your requirements. Download And Installation

  • Log into your WordPress instance as an admin.
  • Go to the WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins and click on Add New.
  • Search for a WordPress OAuth Server Single Sign-On (SSO) plugin and click on Install Now.
  • Once installed click on Activate.

Steps to configure WordPress Login into 360Learning

1. Setup WordPress as OAuth Server

  • Go to miniOrange OAuth Server on the left side menu and click on Custom openid connect client button to create a new client.
  • OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- 360Learning app select
  • Enter Client name as you want. Enter the Redirect/Callback URL that you will get from 360Learning under the Redirect URI field and click on Save Client button.
  •  OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- 360Learning Authorized Redirect URI
  • Note down Client ID, Client Secret and Endpoints to configure in your OAuth Client.
  • OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- 360Learning client credentials

2. Setup 360Learning as OpenID Connect Client

  • First, you need to collect the following data from our OAuth Server Plugin:
  • Client ID : Click Here
    Client Secret : Click Here
    Scope: openid profile email
    Issuer Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/<client-id>
    Authorize Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/authorize
    Access Token Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/token
    Get User Info Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/resource
  • After you have the configuration info, email either your 360Learning Client Success Partner or Solution Architect with the following information:
  • SSO name : OpenID
    OpenID data : All of the OpenID information from the section above
    IT point of contact : The name and email of an IT resource who your 360Learning Solution Architect
    can reach out to for configuration questions if needed.
    Activation level : Do you want to activate single sign-on for your entire platform or only for
    select 360Learning groups?
    360Learning group ID : If you are activating the SSO at a group level instead of for your platform,
    include the group IDs (Find the ID of a group).
  • Next, your 360Learning Solution Architect will reach out to confirm that the SSO is set up.
  • To verify the SSO is setup go to your 360Learning login URL. Make sure you see an option to "Log in with {SSO platform name}"
