Invision Community SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) | Login into Invision Community using WordPress

OAuth Server plugin for WordPress enables Single Sign-On (SSO) into the Invision Community app using your WordPress username and password. Once you configure the Invision Community with OAuth Server plugin for WordPress, you can login to your Invision Community application using WordPress credentials. OAuth Server plugin also allows you to send custom WordPress user attributes to your Invision Community app as per your requirements.   • Go to miniOrange OAuth Server on the left side menu.
  • Now, search for your required OAuth Client (i.e. Invision Community).
  • Click on the Invision Community icon.

  • Enter the Redirect / Callback URL provided by Invision Community under the Redirect URI field and click on Save Client button.

  • Note down Client ID, Client Secret, and Endpoints to configure in your Invision Community app.

  • Go to your community domain Backend Admin Control Panel (https://<id>.invisionservice.com/admin) and login.
  • In your Dashboard, go to Left Panel -> Settings and click on Login & Registration.

  • Click on Create NEW button to create a new method.

  • Select Wordpress as handler and click on Continue.

  • Copy the Redirect/Callback URl (highlighted in the red box), we will need it while configuring OAuth server. Enter the Client ID, Client secret and WordPress URL.

  • You can configure Appearance Settings and Account Management settings as per your requirements. Click on Save once done.
  • You will now see the SSO button on your login page.
