  • Purchase the Customer Attribute Builder extension from Magento Marketplace (Adobe Commerce Marketplace).
  • Go to My profile -> My Purchases
  • Please ensure you are using correct access keys (My Profile - Access Keys)
  • Paste the access keys in your auth.json file inside your project
  • Use the below command to add the extension to your project. 
    "composer require {module_name}:{version}"
  • You can see the module name and list of versions in the selector below the extension module name.
  • Run the following commands on command prompt to enable the extension.
    • php bin/magento setup:upgrade

  • After activating the extension, go to the miniOrange Customer Attribute Builder extension from the left panel menu
  • Now click on the Add New Attribute button.

  • Here, enter the Attribute Label and Attribute Code as required
  • You can also select the input format such as text field, radio button etc.

  • Select Yes in the Display on Frontend button.

  • Select forms where you would require the custom form in your default forms and click on Save to save the settings.
  • Use this Display Order field to set the order in which items or fields appear.

  • Now, When the customer attempts to register on the Magento customer login page, they will be prompted to fill in the extra attribute as defined by the admin in the while registration.

  • To edit the attribute details, click the Edit option and update the desired fields.
