Overview

Google Drive Embedded lets you access and manage your Drive files directly within monday.com. It features two-way sync, so any changes here update your main files automatically.

Configuration Steps

1. Google Drive Embedded View

• After adding the app to your view, this is the landing page where you’ll find all the support resources.

2. Log In to Google Drive

• To access your drive account, connect to Google to securely log in.

3. Access to all files after authentication

• Once authenticated, you can access all your Drive files with automatic syncing.

4. Filters

• The app includes filters like search, type, and name to quickly find any doc, sheet, or file.

5. Select Type

• You can select the file type you want to view or edit, and only those files will be shown.

6. Sorting by Name

• The Name filter sorts files alphabetically.

7. Upload Functionality

• The upload button lets you instantly add files from your device.

8. Two Way Sync in Action

• The upload button lets you instantly add files from your device.
• Two-way sync allows edits made in the app to reflect in your original files. For example, we opened a Google Doc from the Docs tab and typed 'Hello Team'.

• You’ll see the same changes appear in the original Google Doc.

9. Another example of Two Way Sync

• Now, let’s do the same with Google Sheets. Any edits here will update the original sheet automatically.

• As you can see the same changes are visible in the original google sheet as well.

10. Google Slides & Forms

• Similarly, you can access and edit google slides and forms as well and all your changes will be synced with the actual file.
