AutoDesk Single Sign-On SSO | WordPress Login using AutoDesk



WordPress OAuth / OpenID connect Single Sign-On plugin enables login into your WordPress site using OAuth and OpenID Connect providers like AutoDesk and other custom and standard providers. Download And Installation

  • Log into your WordPress instance as an admin.
  • Go to the WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins and click on Add New.
  • Search for a WordPress OAuth Single Sign On plugin and click on Install Now.
  • Once installed click on Activate.

Step 1: Setup AutoDesk as OAuth Provider

  • First of all, go to https://forge.autodesk.com/ and sign up/login.

  • Click on Create App to create a new applicationt.(refer to image below).

  • Fill up the basic information about your app in Application information section.
  • Enter the name you want for your application under App Name field and enter brief description about your application under Add Description field.
  • Add Callback/Redirect URI from miniOrange OAuth Client plugin under Callback Url field and click Create App to create a new application

  • After successful creation of your app you will get information like Client Id, Client Secret etc.
  • Copy your Client Id and Client Secret and paste it on your miniOrange OAuth Client plugin configuration under Client Id and Client Secret field.

  • You have Successfully completed your Meetup OAuth Server Side Configuration.

  • Client ID :  from the step 3 above
    Client Secret :  from the step 3 above
    Scope:   user:read user-profile:read
    Authorize Endpoint: https://developer.api.autodesk.com/authentication/v1/authorize
    Access Token Endpoint: https://developer.api.autodesk.com/authentication/v1/gettoken
    Get User Info Endpoint: https://developer.api.autodesk.com/userprofile/v1/users/@me

Step 2: Setup WordPress as OAuth Client

  • First of all, go to https://invisioncommunity.com/login and log into your invision community account.
  • On your Invision Community, go to AdminCP -> System -> REST & OAuth and click on Create New.

  • Fill out the form selecting Wordpress for Client Type.

  • You will then see a screen with Client ID, Client Secret, Scopes and Endpoints, you will need to enter into Wordpress.

  • For setting up the SSO with invision community request must be initiated with https. i.e. Invision Community admin must be running on https.
  • You have successfully completed your Invision Community WordPress App configurations.

    Access Token Endpoint: https://{invision-community-domain}/oauth/token/
