miniOrange Admin Activity Logs Extension for Magento

The Admin Activity Log extension for Magento provides complete visibility into admin activity. It tracks admin login and logout events with details such as username, timestamp, IP address, success or failure status, and GeoIP location. It also records CRUD actions across Products, Categories, Orders, Customers, CMS Pages, CMS Blocks, Credit Memos, and Sales, along with admin user, user role, and permission changes.

  • Purchase the miniOrange Magento Admin Activity Logs Restriction extension from Magento Marketplace (Adobe Commerce Marketplace).
  • Go to My profile -> My Purchases
  • Please ensure you are using correct access keys (My Profile - Access Keys)
  • Paste the access keys in your auth.json file inside your project
  • Use the below command to add the extension to your project.
    "composer require {module_name}:{version}"
  • You can see the module name and list of versions in the selector below the extension module name.
  • Run the following commands on command prompt to enable the extension.
  • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
  • Download the miniOrange Admin Activity Logs extension.
  • Unzip all contents of the zip inside the MiniOrange/IDPSaml directory.
  • {Root Directory of Magento} app code MiniOrange OAuth
  • Run the following commands on command prompt to enable the extension
  • php bin/magento setup:upgrade

  • To log the admin login/logout events, Select Enable from the Record Login/Logout Actions settings.
  • You can also select the objects to log from the Select Objects to Log dropdown. This will log the changes made in the selected objects, such as Products, Categories, Orders, Customers, CMS Pages, CMS Blocks, Credit Memos, Sales, etc.

  • To enable Login Attempts Auto-Cleaning at a specified time, select Yes from the dropdown and set the preferred auto-clean schedule/time.
  • To enable Actions Log Auto-Cleaning at a specified time, select Yes from the dropdown and set the preferred auto-clean schedule/time.
  • To enable Roles & User Management Log Auto-Cleaning at a specified time, select Yes from the dropdown and set the preferred auto-clean schedule/time.

  • To enable Admin User Creation Logging, select Enabled from the dropdown. This will record events such as admin user creation and related user management activities.
  • To enable Role Changes Logging, select Enabled from the dropdown. This will log any changes made to admin roles.
  • To enable Permission Changes Logging, select Enabled from the dropdown. This will log updates made to role/user permissions.

  • Click the dropdown and choose the log category you want to view:
  • Login/Logout Logs – Shows admin login and logout attempts with relevant details.

  • Action Logs – Shows admin CRUD activities (e.g., product/order/customer/sales/CMS changes). (*Available in the premium version).
  • User/Role Management Logs – Shows changes to admin users, roles, and permissions. (*Available in the premium version).
  • Active Sessions – Displays currently active admin sessions.
