Setup Naver Login to Shopify Store – Shopify Naver Social Login

Overview

The miniOrange Social Login Application makes logging into your Shopify Store super easy. With this application, your users can quickly use their Naver account to sign in, whether it's a Shopify Plus or Non-Plus store. Once you enable Naver Social Login, users will be able to utilize their preferred credentials to access your Shopify store. Users will not need to create multiple accounts and they will be able to log in using their Naver Account.

Naver Login for Shopify

Naver is South Korea’s largest web search engine, as well as a global ICT brand that provides services including LINE messenger, currently with over 200 million users from around the world. With social login, you can use NAVER Login on your Shopify store and allow your community to login to your Shopify store in seconds.

Pre-requisites: Shopify Social Login Application

To configure SSO into Shopify with Naver as IDP, you will need to install the miniOrange Social Login application on your Shopify store.

Configuration Steps

Step-By-Step Guide to Enable Naver Login on Shopify Store

Step 1: Configure Custom App in Shopify for Naver Login

• Go to the social login application Dashboard. Here, please click on Naver application.

• If you don't want to setup your custom app then please click on Setup app in just one click. Then, Click on Save. This will setup your Naver application for Shopify.

• That is all you require to do to add Connect with Naver button to Shopify. To Setup a custom app for Naver, please follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure Custom App in Naver site

• Go to https://developers.naver.com and sign in with your Naver developer account.
• On Naver developer portal click on Application Registration.

• On Application registration Enter Application name and Select Nearo (Login with Naver ID) as Usage API.

• Select all authority such as Member name, e-mail, Nickname, Profile Picture, gender, birthday, Age range.

• Add environment as PC website.

• Enter Service URL and Login callback URL (from instructions page) in the callback URL field.

• Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from summary tab.

Step 3: Complete Setup of Naver Login on Shopify

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Instructions.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.
• A notification from the app will pop-up that the test configuration was successful. That means your Custom app was set properly.

• Now, You can see the Naver social Login button is activated on your Shopify Store. This will allow users to connect to your shopify store using Naver application.

Hence you have configured Naver Social Login into Shopify Store.
