Steps to Configure Slack Social Login into Shopify

Step 1: Add Social Login App to your Shopify Store

Follow the steps below to configure Slack Social login in Shopify

 Configure Slack Social Login

• Visit https://apps.shopify.com/miniorange-social-login on Shopify marketplace. Click on Add app to install it on your store.

• Once you have installed it, it will take you to the social login application Dashboard. Here, please click on Slack application.

• If you don't want to setup your custom app then please click on Setup app in just one click. Then, Click on Save. This will setup your Slack application for Shopify.

• That is all you require to do to add Connect with Slack button to Shopify. To Setup a custom app for Slack, please follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure Custom App for Shopify Slack Login :

• Go to https://api.slack.com/apps and sign in with your Slack account.
• On that page click on the Create an App button. Select From Scratch option from the popup.

• Enter the Application Name and select Workspace and click on Create App.

• Now navigate to OAuth and Prermissions tab from the left hand side menu.

• Enter Redirect URL in the redirect URL field. (from instructions page).

• Now navigate to Basic Information tab from the left hand side menu.
• Copy the CLient ID and Client Secret from the app credentials section.

Step 3: Complete Setup of Slack Login on Shopify

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Instructions.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.

• A notification from the app will pop-up that the test configuration was successful. That means your Custom app was set properly.

• Now, You can see the Slack social Login button is activated on your Shopify Store. This will allow users to connect to your shopify store using Slack application.

You have successfully configured Slack Social Login for your Shopify Store.
