Steps to Configure Yandex Social Login into Shopify

Step 1: Add Social Login App to your Shopify Store

Follow the steps below to configure Yandex Social login in Shopify

 Configure Yandex Social Login

• Visit to https://apps.shopify.com/miniorange-social-login on Shopify marketplace. Click on Add app to install it on your store.

• Once you have installed it, it will take you to the social login application Dashboard. Here, please click on Yandex.

• If you don't want to setup your custom app then please click on Setup app in just one click. Then, Click on Save. This will setup your Yandex application for Shopify.

• That is all you require to do to add Connect/Login with Yandex button to Shopify. To Setup a custom app for Yandex, please follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure Custom App for Shopify Yandex Login :

• Login to Yandex: Go to https://oauth.yandex.ru/client/new and login with your Yandex credentials

• Enter the following details:
• Application Name: Display name of your application.
• Description: Description about your app.
• Application Icon: Upload the logo. (Not a required field).

• Under the Platform label enable the Web services checkbox and the Callback URL (you will get the callback URL from the miniOrange plugin).

• Under the Access label click on Yandex.Passport.API and enable Access to email address, Access to date of birth, Access to login, first and last name gender, Access to user portrait options.

• Scroll down and click on Create Application.

• Copy your Client ID and Client Secret and save it on your miniOrange Social Login Plugin Configuration.

Step 3: Complete Setup of Yandex Login on Shopify

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Instructions.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.
• Custom app will set properly when Test configuration get successful

• Go to the App Dashboard and click on the toggle button on Yandex icon to activate Yandex login button so that people can sign-in to your store using Login with Yandex.

• Now, You can see the Yandex social Login button is activated on your Shopify Store. This will allow users to connect to your store using Yandex.

You have successfully configured Yandex Social Login for your Shopify Store.
