How to setup What happens if my phone is lost, discharged or not with me?

If your phone is lost, discharged, or not with you, it can select the KBA and OTP Over Email alternative login method.

Follow these steps to setup What happens if my phone is lost, discharged or not with me?

• Click on the miniOrange 2-Factor plugin from the left side menu and go to the Login Settings tab on the dashboard.



• Search What happens if my phone is lost, discharged or not with me feature in the Login Settings tab.
• Enable the checkbox Enable Forgot Phone to login with the backup method. Then you can choose any of the two methods as a backup.

1. KBA: With this, you have to answer three questions.
2. OTP over Email: With this, you will get an OTP on Email

• Page scroll down and click on Save Settings button.


• Now, If you lose your phone you can login with any of these two methods.


• Go to the login page and enter your login credentials.
• click on the Login button.




• Click on Forgot Phone from Two Factor Authentication login Popup.




• You can see an alternate login method. here, we have selected OTP Over Email as alternate Login method and click on Continue button.

Enable Backup codes

• Search Enable Backup Codes feature in the Login Settings tab.
• Enable the checkbox Enable Backup Codes for users to login with the backup method.




• Page scoll down and click on the Save Settings button.




• Go to the login page and enter your login credentials.
• click on the Login button.




• See the Use Backup Codes option.


• If you Lose your phone you can login with Backup Codes.
