Guide to Setup LDAP/AD Groups plugin integration add-on
Overview
Assign users to WordPress groups based on their group memberships that are existing in Active Directory with the help of the miniOrange WP Groups Plugin Integration add-on. This add-on maps LDAP users to WordPress groups created through WP Groups plugin.
Prerequisites
- The premium plugin LDAP/AD Login for Intranet Sites must be installed and configured.
- Groups Plugin.

Download And Install
- Login to login.xecurify.com.
- On the Xecurify dashboard, you will see a navigation section on the left. Click on License >> Manage Licenses.
- In the manage licenses tab click on the Releases and Downloads tab.
- From the xecurify dashboard download the plugin / Add-On.
- Go to the plugins section in the WordPress dashboard and click on the Add New button.
- Click on the Upload Plugin button.
- Click on the choose file button to select the downloaded plugin / Add-On .zip file.
- Once done, click on the Install button.
- Click on the Activate button to activate the add-On.
LDAP/AD to WP Groups Mapping
LDAP/AD Group(s) to WordPress Group(s) Mapping
- Enter the LDAP Groups Distinguished Name and select the WordPress Groups from the dropdown.
- You can add more mapping by clicking on Add more mapping.
- Click on the checkbox to enable the LDAP to WordPress Groups Mapping.
- Once done, click on the Save Mapping button.
Test LDAP/AD to WP Group(s) Mapping Configuration
- Enter LDAP username to test attribute configuration.
- Click on the Test Configuration button.
