Login using Joomla Users ( Joomla as SAML IDP ) plugin gives you the ability to use your Joomla credentials to log into Panopto. Here we will go through a step-by-step guide to configure SSO between Panopto as Service Provider and Joomla as an Identity Provider.
|Instance Name||Enter name of your Joomla Site.|
|Friendly Description||This can be anything you'd like; it is just describing your provider. This is how the IDP will be displayed in the sign-in dropdown..|
|Bounce Page URL||Copy and paste the SAML Login URL.|
|Panopto Entity ID||https://<panoptoserverURL>/Panopto/Pages/Auth/Login.aspx|
|Issuer||Copy and paste the IDP-Entity ID.|
|Public Key||Download and Open the Certificate in Notepad. Copy and paste the content here.|
|Service Provider Name||Choose appropriate name according to your choice .|
|SP Entity ID or Issuer||Service Provider Entity ID .|
|ACS URL||SP Assertion Consumer Service URL .|
|X.509 Certificate (optional) [For Signed Request]||Paste certificate value you copied from the Metadata file .|
|NameID Format||Select urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress.|
