Sync SharePoint Documents to DNN Folder Provider

• An employee adds a new folder to the SharePoint instance and uploads several project-related documents.
• The SharePoint plugin is configured to automatically sync data from SharePoint to the DNN folder provider in real time. The folder and documents are automatically synced to DNN file system as soon as they are created and uploaded in SharePoint.
• DNN Administrators can view and download documents from the DNN website as needed.
• If you rename or modify a folder or a document in SharePoint, the changes are automatically synced to DNN file system.
• This allows employees to have easy access to all work-related documents in a single location without having to log in to multiple systems.

Restrict/Filter Files According to DNN Roles or User Memberships

A university has a SharePoint document library with course materials for various classes. The university has a DNN website and wants to display course materials on it, but only to students enrolled in the corresponding class.

• You can use third-party plugins such as Paid Membership Pro, WP Members, MemberPress, and others to create different DNN user roles and membership groups to represent the various classes and levels of access that should be granted to the course materials. For instance, the university may establish a membership group for each class, such as "Class 1," "Class 2," and so on.
• Use our plugin to restrict course materials (folders/files) access based on the user's membership group. For example, the plugin could be set to only show the documents for "Class 1" to users who are members of the "Class 1" group.
