Microsoft Teams Embedded In monday.com

Overview

The Microsoft Teams Embedded app in monday.com lets you chat, schedule meetings, and access your calendar. It features two-way sync, so updates here reflect in your Teams workspace.

Configuration Steps

1. Microsoft Teams Embedded View

• After adding the app to your view, the landing page opens. Here you can access all the support resources.

2. Authenticate With Microsoft

• To access your Microsoft Teams, connect to your Microsoft account to securely log in.

3. Access to Microsoft Teams after Authentication

• Once authenticated, you can access your Teams meetings, chats, and calendar, organized into three sections.

4. Meeting Section

• In the Meetings section, you can start an instant meeting or schedule one for later. Now, let’s see how to create an instant meeting in Teams.

• Enter your meeting title and click ‘Create Instant Meeting.’

• A pop-up instantly appears with the meeting title, start time, and URL.

• You can easily copy the meeting URL, share it, or join the meeting.

4. Meeting Section - Instant Meeting

• Now, let’s schedule a meeting for a later time.

• Here, just enter the meeting title, start and end time, and add your attendees.

• Once done, click ‘Schedule Meeting’ to confirm it.

• A similar pop-up appears showing the meeting title, start time, and URL.

6. Calendar Section

• In this demo, I’ve scheduled a meeting for November 4th. It appears in the Calendar section along with the rest of my schedule.

• When I open November 4th, you can see a meeting named 'Test' has been created, and I can join it directly from here.

7. Chat Section

• Now, let’s move to the Chat section. All your personal and group chats are visible here, and you can message anyone directly from monday.com.
