OTP Verification general setting configuration

1. Show a country code drop-down on your form

• Go to the Settings - General Settings option in the OTP Verification plugin.

• Go to the Country code Dropdown feature.
• Under the Country Code section choose your Country which will be set as default.
• Select the "Show a country code dropdown on the phone field" option to show a country code drop-down on your form.
• Then click on the Save Settings button.


Note - Enabling the country code ensures its visibility on forms that have OTP Verification enabled.

2. Change SMS and Email Template

Yes, it is possible to customize both the Email and SMS OTP Message that goes out to your users. The steps depend on the plan you are on.

If you are on miniOrange Gateway Plan
• If you are on miniOrange Gateway Plan, then Contact Us for SMS Template. If Email Configuration click here.
For Custom SMS gateway
• If you are on the Custom Gateway Plan then just follow the steps given under the OTP Settings tab of the plugin to customize the message going out in the Email or SMS.
• Go to the Settings - OTP Settings option.

• Go to the SMS Template Configurations feature and customize SMS Template.

• Go to the Email Template Configurations feature and customize Email Template.

3. Change OTP Length and Validity Period

Yes, it is possible to change OTP lenght and Validity period that goes out to your users. The steps depend on the plan you are on.

If you are on miniOrange Gateway Plan
• If you're on the miniOrange Gateway Plan, refer to this Guide for step-by-step instructions on changing OTP length and validity.
For Custom SMS gateway
• If you are on the Custom Gateway Plan then just follow the steps given under the OTP Settings tab of the plugin to change OTP lenght and Validity period in the Email or SMS.
• Go to the Settings - OTP Settings option and page scroll down.

• Look under OTP Properties section in the plugin to set your OTP Length and Validity period.

4. Change the design of the OTP Popup

• Go to the Settings - Pop-up Design section.

• Page scroll down and go to the Advance settings.
• Now, you can select the Popup Templates and modify the HTML, CSS and JavaScript to match your site branding/design.
• Click on the Preview button above to check how your popup would look like.
• The Pop-up appears when the OTP is sent successfully.
• Then click on the Save Settings button.

• You can change the OTP input field by going Popup Field feature.

      (Note: This feature are provided in the Premium plugin)

• Now, you can select any one popup field from the dropdown and see fields.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.
