How to Configure the ProctoPress: Online Proctoring Solutions plugin for WordPress?

  • Unzip and upload the exam-and-quiz-online-proctoring-with-lms-integration to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  • Activate the ProctoPress: Quiz/Exam Proctoring For Learning Management System(LMS) plugin from your Plugins page.

To configure the plugin, navigate to this section, where you will find various configuration settings.

LMS And Exam Selection:

  • Select the LMS you are using.
  • Select the exam for which you want to configure the proctoring settings.
  • Now, click the switch to enable exam proctoring.
  • Once you have completed the configuration, click the Next button.

Browser Controls:

  • Restrict Browser Inspection/Developer Tools: Enable this option to disable browser inspection tools during the exam.
  • Restrict Mouse Right-Click: Enable Restrict Right-Click to prevent the context menu from opening.
  • Enable Tab Switch Warnings: Enable this option to show warnings on the candidate's screen during tab switch attempts.
  • Once you have completed the configuration, click the Next button.

Candidate Monitoring:

  • Live Monitoring: Enable this option to view candidates' live streams during the exam.
  • Once you have completed the configuration, click the Next button.

  • Now, click the Save Changes button.

    In the Live Monitoring tab, you can view the live streams of candidates.

  • Select Exam: Choose the exam from the dropdown to view the live webcam streams of candidates taking the exam. You can also use the search option to find and view a specific candidate's live webcam stream.
  • Video Size: You can select the video tile size from this option.

In the Manage sessions tab, you can set the limit for simultaneous exam sessions.

  • Enable Session Restriction: Enable this option to activate the session restriction feature.
  • Set Maximum Simultaneous Sessions Limit: Enter the maximum number of simultaneous sessions allowed for a candidate.
  • Choose an action upon reaching the limit:
    1. Allow Access: Allows the candidate to log in to the current session while terminating all other sessions.
    2. Disable Access: Prevents the candidate from logging in until they log out from other devices.
  • Once you have completed the configuration, click the Save Changes button.
