How to setup WordPress Twilio SMS Gateway for WordPress 2FA plugin?

Follow the steps given below to setup Twilio SMS Gateway for WordPress 2FA plugin.

Configuration setup for Twilio SMS Gateway in Twilio site:



• Go to the Twilio Sign Up page and create a new account.
• Fill the requirement details and click Start your free trial button.




• Please check your email and verify your account.




• Copy the e-mail address given below and go to the other tab and paste it.




• Now you have to verify the phone number.
• Select Country code and enter your Phone Number.
• Click on the verify button.


• OTP will be sent on this number to verify the mobile number.



• Enter the Verification code and click on the Submit button.



• Twilio setup is Successfully completed.
• Fill in details and click on the Get started with Twilio button.



• You will be redirected to the Twilio console page.
• Click on the Get a trial phone number button.
• After that you will get your trial number.



• Go to the Explore Products option to the left side menu and page scroll down.
• Select API Explorer product.



• You can select the Programmable SMS in the listed option.



• Now you can select post messages.



• Fill the required details.





• Click on the Make Request button.



• The message will be received on the number you provided.




Configuration setup for Twilio SMS Gateway in miniOrange IDP:



• Go to the Xecurify login page.
• Enter your premium account email address and click on the login button.



• Enter your account password and again click on the login button.



• You will be redirected to the Xecurify dashboard page.
• From the left navigation section, go to Customization >> Custom SMS Provider.




1. Set Organization SMS Gateway

• Select the Set Organization SMS Gateway icon.



• Select the Twilio Gateway option in the SMS Gateways dropdown.

Configure the SMS gateway using the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
URL	https://api.twilio.com/2010-04-01/Accounts/YOURACCOUNTSID/Messages.json
Authentication	BasicAuth
Username	ACCOUNTSID
Password	AUTHTOKEN

• Click here to get the ACCOUNT SID and AUTH TOKEN.


• For the Post Fields section, enter the following parameters.

Parameter	Description
Body	##message##
To	##phone##
From	##twilio number##





2. Test SMS Gateway Configuration

After saving the configuration, you can test your SMS Gateway with the following steps.

• Enter your mobile number in the STEP 1 field.
• Click on Test Configuration. You will receive an SMS with a 6-8 digit OTP on the mobile number you entered.
• Enter the OTP sent in the SMS and click on Validate to validate your phone number.



• The OTP you entered has been Successfully verified.
