Configure Real-Time Store-to-Store Inventory Sync for Shopify

Our Shopify Inventory Sync application helps you unlock the full potential of your e-commerce store by automatically syncing product and inventory data. It supports several e-commerce platforms, including Shopify and more. It also allows you to bulk import products from Alphabroder, SanMar, Amrod, S&S Activewear, APIs, and many more.

  • To set up store-to-store inventory sync, we will need to install and configure the Inventory Sync application, in 2 Shopify stores i.e. Source Store & Destination Store (real-time inventory sync will work regardless of whether it is a live store or development store).
  • Products in both source and destination store, need to have exact SKU for the functionality to work.

Follow the step by step guide to configure miniOrange Inventory Sync application on your Shopify stores.

  • Navigate to the "Configuration tab" and copy or take note of the unique key provided.
  • This unique key must be entered in the source store.

  • Click on the "Create connection" button highlighted below:

  • Select the “Shopify Store” as the connection source from the list of suppliers.

  • To establish the connection, provide a suitable "Connection Name" to identify the connection.
  • Enter the Destination Store Key of your Shopify store where you want to import and Sync your products.
  • Then, Click on the “Test Connection” button.

  • Enable Bulk Product Import toggle to transfer all products from Source store to destination store.

  • Choose “Your Source Locations” and “Destination Locations” from their corresponding dropdown.
  • Click on the “Add Location” button to add multiple Source and destination location pairs.

  • Enable the “Price Update” button to apply the pricing rule to all products in the store.

  • Click on the “Add Rule” option to add pricing rules. (You can add pricing rules from the list. There are three different types of pricing rules available, e.g, Fixed Amount, Percentage, and Custom expression.)
  • Custom Expression — This option allows you to manually define how a value should be calculated rather than using a fixed number or pre-defined formula. You can enter your mathematical formula in the form of an expression like “Price*5/2”, Where price — A variable representing the original price, * — Multiplication operator, / — Division operator. To configure a pricing rule, select 'Updated by', 'Operations', and 'Value'.

  • Then, click on the “Save” button.
