Steps to Configure Tumblr Social Login into Shopify

Step 1: Add Social Login App to your Shopify Store

Follow the steps below to configure Tumblr Social login in Shopify

 Configure Tumblr Social Login

• Visit https://apps.shopify.com/miniorange-social-login on Shopify marketplace. Click on Add app to install it on your store.

• Once you have installed it, it will take you to the social login application Dashboard. Here, please click on Tumblr application.

• If you don't want to setup your custom app then please click on Setup app in just one click. Then, Click on Save. This will setup your Tumblr application for Shopify.

• That is all you require to do to add Connect with Tumblr button to Shopify. To Setup a custom app for Tumblr, please follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure Custom App for Shopify Tumblr Login :

• Go to https://www.tumblr.com/oauth/apps and sign in with your Tumblr account.
• On that page click on the "register an application" link. Now the "Application" page does load. On that page you can see all the information about tumblr OAuth

• Enter the Application Name and under application Website URL, Enter Website URL.

• Under Default callback url section, Enter Callback URL (from instructions page) and click on Save changes button.

• After that if you want your secret key click on "show secret key". You will get your OAuth consumer key (Client ID) and secret key(Client Secret).

Step 3: Complete Setup of Tumblr Login on Shopify

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Instructions.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.

• A notification from the app will pop-up that the test configuration was successful. That means your Custom app was set properly.

• Now, You can see the Tumblr social Login button is activated on your Shopify Store. This will allow users to connect to your shopify store using Tumblr application.

You have successfully configured Tumblr Social Login for your Shopify Store.
