Twitter Social Login for Shopify Store – Shopify Social Login

Pre-requisite:

Before you begin setting up Social Login on Shopify Stores, make sure you have installed the miniOrange Social Login app.

Step-By-Step Guide to Enable Twitter Social Login on Shopify Store

Step 1:Configure Custom App for Twitter Login

 Configure Twitter Social Login

• Go to Twitter Developers Console and sign up or log in with your Twitter credentials.
• Click on the Create an App button.

• Select the Application Environment according to your application type.

• Enter the Name of your application.

• Navigate to the Keys and Tokes section. Copy the API KEY and keep it handy as we will use it in further configurations. Now click on App Settings.

• Click on the Setup button from the User Authentication Settings menu.

• Now, Click on the App name in the left menu then Enable 3rd Party Authentication If you want to get the email address as well, then don’t forget to enable the Request email address from users option.

• You have to, enter Callback URLs. Copy the Callback URL from the below table, and paste it here.

• Now go to Keys and Tokens. Click on View Keys. Here is your API Secret key to enable login with Twitter. Copy the API Secret and keep it handy as we will use them in further configurations.

2. Configure the miniOrange Social Login Application

• Go to your Shopify store's Apps section and select the miniOrange Social Login application.

• You'll be redirected to the Social Login Application dashboard. Select Twitter.

• Paste the previously copied API KEY and API Secret as mentioned in the table.

• Click on the Save to save the credentials.
• You have now successfully configured the miniOrange Social Login application side as well.

3. Test your Configuration

• Click Test Configurations on the Social Login Dashboard to validate your setup.

• A window should pop up, as Shown in the below image.

• Go to Social Login Dashboard, And Enable the Twitter toggle to display the Twitter Social Login button on your login page.

• Go to your Shopify Store >> Online Store >> Themes Click on Customize As Shown in the Image.

• Go to the App Embeds Section, and turn the mO Social Login widget On

• Now you can see the Twitter Social Login button is showing on your login page


You have successfully configured Twitter Social Login for the Shopify Website.
