Follow the step by step guide to configure Groups Integrator add-on with SAML Single Sign On (SSO) Plugin


miniOrange Groups Integrator allows you to map the users from IdP groups into WordPress groups based on the groups assigned to users in the Identity Provider.


  • Configure the miniOrange SAML 2.0 SSO plugin with your desired Identity Provider as mentioned in our webpage.
  • At Identity Provider side, assign users to the group within the application.
  • Note: After configuration / exchanging the metadata click on the Test Configuration button.

  • In the miniOrange SAML 2.0 SSO plugin, navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
  • Click on Role Mapping subtab.
  • Select IDP Group/Role Attribute from the dropdown and click on Save button.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Select Group Role
  • Now, go to Group Profiling add-on, Select your IdP from the dropdown (if you are using Multiple IdP plugin) and click the Select button.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Select IdP Group Profiling
  • Choose Default Group to the users for whom you haven't provided any mapping.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Select Default Group
  • To add multiple group names click the ADD A NEW GROUP NAME button.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Add Group Name
  • Select WordPress Group Name from the dropdown and enter the IdP Group Name in the corresponding input field.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Select WP Group Name
  • Click the Save button to save the configuration.

  • Group Profiling Integrator for WordPress | Save Configuration

    You have successfully configured Group Profiling / Groups Integrator add-on with your Identity Provider.
