The User Session and Login Management plugin provides a one-stop solution for managing all your local WordPress users. Our plugin offers several functionalities, such as bulk user management, user redirection based on WordPress roles, user session management, and making a private page publicly accessible based on URL.

Import/Export Users

Import Users:
  • To import WordPress users from the CSV file, click on the choose file button and select the file.
  • Default User Role: From the dropdown list select the default user role. This default role will be assigned if the user role is not mentioned in the CSV file.
  • Click on the overwrite existing users checkbox if you want to overwrite the existing user details with the information provided in the CSV file.

Export Users
  • Click on the export button to export the WordPress users in the CSV file format.

Redirect User

Default Redirection:
  • Redirect User After Login: Users will be redirected to the entered URL upon login by default, if there is no other login redirection setting applied.
  • Redirect User After Logout: Users will be redirected to the entered URL upon logout by default, if there is no other logout redirection setting applied.
  • Click on the save button to save the settings.

Role Based Redirection:
  • Select the role from the dropdown list and enter the page url where you wish to redirect the user.
  • Click on the Add Row button to add more roles and url's.
  • Once done, click on the save configuration button.
  • To enable the role based redirection click on the checkbox.

Session Management

  • Click on the force logout button to logout the user.

Website Privacy

  • Protect all content by login: Enable this checkbox if you want to restrict access to the pages to logged in users only.

  • Add Public Pages: Enable this checkbox if you want to remove restrictions for some page(s).
  • Enter URL of the pages to be made public. To add multiple pages click on the [+] button.
  • Once done, click on the save button.

Profile Picture

  • To search the user, enter the username. The users will be shown.
  • Click on the Upload Profile Picture button to upload the profile picture. Once uploaded, click on the select image button.
  • To remove the profile picture simply click on the Remove Profile Picture button.

Roles & Capabilities

  • To add a new user role, click on the New Role button.
  • Enter the Role ID, Role Name and in make it similar to section select the role from the dropdown list and click on Create Role button.
  • Note: In make it similar to section when you select the role from the dropdown list, the capabilities of that role will be applied to the new role.

  • Once the role is created, you can edit the capabilities of the role by clicking on the Edit button in front of that role.

  • Select the role capabilities you want to assign to the selected role.
  • Once done, click on the Update button.

Email Notification

  • Enter the admin email address.
  • On an incorrect login attempt the admin will be notified on the entered email address.
  • Once done with above steps, click on the save button.
