Zapier Integration with WordPress Basic Authentication Method
- Go to https://developer.zapier.com/ and login with your account.
- Choose your Zap Integration or Start a new Zapier integration.
- Click on the Setup Authentication button.
- Select the Authentication type Basic Auth and click on the Save button.
- Go to WordPress, Install the WordPress REST API Authentication plugin and go to Configure API Authentication and select the Basic Authentication method, then select the key type according to your requirement and click on the Save Configuration button.
- Now, In Zapier you can make the configuration and test it. In Step 1 you need to configure the REST API endpoint with Authorization header according to your authentication key.
- Once you saved the configuration, you can Test your authentication for which you need to add the WordPress user for that click on the Sign In to WordPress button.
- You need to allow Zapier to access the WordPress account.
- Once your account is successfully added to Zapier, you can click on the Test Authentication button.
- On successful authentication you will find the WordPress posts in the response. Which you can use to fetch the details.
