How to set up OTP Verification for the Dokan Registration Form?

This setup guide helps you configure OTP verification for customers and vendors using the Dokan Registration Form in WordPress. It provides step-by-step instructions to enable secure registration through Phone or Email verification. Choose between pop-up or on-page verification, restrict duplicate phone numbers, and redirect users after registration. This guide ensures a smooth setup experience for your site's needs.

Let's explore how to setup Dokan Registration form for the OTP Verification plugin.

You can verify the Customer through the Phone or Email verification method.

  • Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin, then search and select Dokan Registration Form from the list.

  • Select this checkbox to enable the Dokan Registration Form.
  • Select this checkbox to Enable Customer Verification.

  • Enable the radio button for Phone Verification.
  • To prevent users from using the same phone number across multiple accounts, select the checkbox 'Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts'.
Customer Registration Form - Enable Redirection option

  • If the user wants to redirect to a specific page after customer registration, enable the ‘Redirect User to a Specific Page after Customer Registration’ option.
  • Select the page from the dropdown where you want to redirect the user after customer registration.
  • Then click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to the Dokan Registration form and register as a customer.
  • Enable the radio button option 'I am a Customer'. (If not enabled by default)
  • Enter your Email ID, select the country code from the dropdown, and enter your phone number.
  • Then, click on the Register button.

  • Users will be shown a pop-up to verify, and an OTP will be sent to their phone number.
  • Enter the OTP and click on the Validate OTP button.
Customer Verification - Enter phone OTP

  • The customer will be successfully registered into their account after the OTP verification is completed.


On-Page Verification

In this setting, the user can be verified directly on the form without showing a pop-up.

  • Select the checkbox ‘Do not show a popup. Validate the user on the form itself’.
  • You can set your Verification Button text that shows up on the registration form for sending OTP.
  • Then click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to the Dokan Registration form and register as a customer.
  • Enter your Email ID, select the country code from the dropdown, and enter your phone number.
  • Click the Click Here to Send OTP button.

  • Enter the OTP received on your phone.
  • Enable the radio button option 'I am a Customer'. (If not enabled by default)
  • Then, click on the Register button.

  • The customer will be successfully registered into their account after the OTP verification is completed.
  • Enable the radio button for Email Verification.
  • Select the checkbox to ‘Redirect User to a Specific Page after Customer Registration’ option.
  • Select the page from the dropdown where you want to redirect the user after customer registration.
  • Then click on the Save Settings button.

  • Enter your Email ID.
  • Then, click on the Register button.

  • Enter the OTP and click on the Validate OTP button.

  • Enter your phone number with your country code.
  • Click on the Register button.

  • Enter the OTP and click on the Validate OTP button.

  • The vendor will be successfully registered into their account after the OTP verification is completed.

In this setting, during registration, the user will see both Phone Verification and Email Verification options and can choose either method to complete the verification.


  • Enable the radio button for option ‘Let the User Choose’.
  • To prevent users from using the same phone number across multiple accounts, select the checkbox 'Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts'.
  • Then, click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to the Dokan Registration form and register as a customer.
  • Enter your Email ID, select the country code from the dropdown, and enter your phone number.
  • Enable the radio button option 'I am a Customer'. (If not enabled by default)
  • Then, click on the Register button.

  • The customer will be successfully registered to their account by selecting any one of the following methods.

  • Enable the radio button for option ‘Let the User Choose’.
  • To prevent users from using the same phone number across multiple accounts, select the checkbox 'Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts'.
  • Then, click on the Save Settings button.
Vendor Verification - Click Save Settings button

  • Go to the Dokan Registration form and register as a vendor.
  • Enable the radio button option 'I am a Vendor' and complete all the required fields.
  • Select the country code from the dropdown and enter your phone number.
  • Then, click on the Register button.

  • The Vendor will be successfully registered to their account by selecting any one of the following methods.
