How to configure Groups Integrator Addon for WordPress with SAML Single Sign On (SSO) Plugin?

The Groups Integrator Addon works with the miniOrange SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) plugin to map users into WordPress groups based on the group or role attributes assigned to them at your Identity Provider (IdP). By following this guide, you will configure the IdP Group/Role Attribute mapping and Group Profiling settings, set a default group for users without an explicit mapping, and map individual IdP group names to their corresponding WordPress groups. Once configured, users are automatically placed into the correct WordPress group every time they sign in through SSO, without any manual intervention.

miniOrange Groups Integrator allows you to map the users from IdP groups into WordPress groups based on the groups assigned to users in the Identity Provider.

  • Configure the miniOrange SAML 2.0 SSO plugin with your desired Identity Provider as mentioned in our webpage.
  • At Identity Provider side, assign users to the group within the application.

Your users will now automatically be placed into the correct WordPress group - including a default group when no mapping applies - every time they sign in through SSO.
