Step 1: Download and install miniOrange SAML SP SSO 2.0 Plugin

From your WordPress dashboard

  • Click on PluginsAdd New tab.
  • Search for SSO Login. Install the plugin.
  • Unable to load image
  • Activate SAML SP Single Sign On Plugin by miniOrange from your Plugins page.

From WordPress.org

  • Download SAML SP Single Sign On - SSO Login plugin by miniOrange.
  • Unzip and upload the plugin directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  • Activate SAML SP Single Sign On by miniOrange from your Plugins page.

Step 2: Configure SAML SP SSO 2.0 Plugin

  • After activating SAML SP Single Sign On plugin go to miniOrange SAML 2.0 SSO.
  • Search for your Identity Provider name or click on your Identity Provider from the given Identity Providers.
  • If your Identity Provider Name is not there in default list, you can click on Custom IDP to add custom Identity Provider.

  • There are two ways to Configure your Identity Provider in the Service Provider Setup Tab:
    • Manual Configuration: Fill in your Identity Provider details like IdP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, and X.509 Certificate. You will get these details from your Identity Provider.
    • Upload IDP Metadata File/XML: Note : For Default Applications in default list , endpoints and scopes are auto filled. But you can change it if required.
  • Click on Save button once you have entered all mandatory information.
  • Click on Test Configuration button to verify if you have configured correctly.
  • On successful configuration, you will get Attributes Name and Attribute Values on Test Configuration window. Map Attribute Names provided by your Identity Provider with Service Provider Attributes by clicking on the Configure Attribute/Role Mapping button.
  • From the WordPress Menu, go to Appearance -> Widget.
  • Drag and drop miniOrange SSO Login widget wherever you want on your website as shown in screenshot given below.
  • Copy paste your site-URL on private window and you will be able to see Login button with display name you have given.
  • Once logged in, you will be able to access your WordPress profile.
