How to setup OTP Verification for ARMember Registration Form?

Enhance the security of your ARMember Registration Form by integrating our OTP Verification plugin. The OTP Verification plugin ensures that you get verified registrations from your ARMember Registration Form by validating the OTP sent to user's Email or Phone number before registration. The purpose of this guide is to help you set up OTP Verification for your ARMember Registration Form.

Follow these steps to setup OTP Verification on ARMember Registration Form.

1. Setup Phone Verification for ARMember Registration form

Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
Search and Select "ARMember Registration Form".

Enable the checkbox next to ARMember Registration Form.

Enable "Phone Verification".
Click on "Click Here" to see the list of forms.

Note the "Form ID" of the registration form from the form settings page on which you want to enable OTP.

Click on the "Edit" option of your form in ARMember plugin.

Add a "Phone Number Field" to your form.
Note the field "Meta Keytext" of the phone field.

Add a "Verification Field" to your form where users will enter the OTP sent to their Phone.
Note the field "Meta Keytext" of the verification field.
Make sure that the verification field is "Required Field".

Enter your Form ID, Phone Field Meta Keytext and Verification Field Meta Keytext as noted earlier.
After that click on the "Save Settings" button.

To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your ARMember Registration form.
Fill all the required fields and click on the "CLICK HERE TO SEND OTP" button.
Enter the OTP received in the verification field and click on "Submit" button.

2. Setup Email verification for ARMember Registration form

Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
Search and Select "ARMember Registration Form".

Enable the checkbox next to ARMember Registration Form.

Enable "Email Verification".
Click on "Click Here" to see the list of ARMember Registration forms.

Note the "Form ID" of the registration form from the form settings page on which you want to enable OTP.

Click on the "Edit" option of your form in ARMember plugin.

Add a "Verification Field" to your form where users will enter the OTP sent to their Email Address.
Note the field "Meta Keytext" of the verification field.
Make sure that the verification field is "Required Field".

Please note that the default Email Field Meta Keytext is user_email.
Enter your Form ID, Email Field Meta Keytext and Verification Field Meta Keytext as noted earlier.
After that click on the "Save Settings" button.

To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your ARMember Registration form.
Fill all the required fields and click on the "CLICK HERE TO SEND OTP" button.
Enter the OTP received in the verification field and click on "Submit" button.
