×A WordPress/WooCommerce site uses AWS Cognito to store its customer/user database. The site wants information about its newly registered users to be instantly synchronized with the AWS Cognito user pool. As both the WordPress site and the mobile application are linked with AWS Pool, all its registered users should easily log into the WooCommerce site using the same AWS Cognito credentials without any hassle.
Environment Setup :
1. WordPress Environment (Single Site/Multisite)
2. AWS Cognito Pool as Identity Provider/User Store
Solution Flow Requirements :
Admin is looking for SSO and User Sync functionality for their customers accessing their eCommerce site. They are looking to store their customer information into AWS Cognito. Let’s divide this requirement into separate flows.
1. Registration (First time users/customer)
2. Login (Second login onwards)
1. Registration :
Admin wants users to register into WordPress using Register/Sign Up Form As soon as users put their information into WordPress form and hit the submit button, the user will be created into WordPress and at the same time it will create/sync users in AWS Cognito User Pool.
Along with the user creation it will also sync some of the user attributes like Account No, WordPress role and basic information into AWS Cognito.
2. Login (Single Sign-On using AWS Cognito) :
Admin wants existing users to login into WordPress directly via Cognito credentials in WordPress Login form (Customized using form builder) without redirecting them to Cognito Sign-in form
As soon as users put their Cognito login credentials into WordPress Login form and hit submit button, the user will get authenticated via AWS Cognito and on successful authentication it will allow user an access to WordPress site
Environment Setup :
1. WordPress Multisite Environment for eCommerce business on desktop and mobile application
2. AWS Cognito Pool as Identity Provider/User Store

Admin is looking to maintain a centralized user database to maintain the single set of credentials to access eCommerce sites on Desktop or Mobile applications.
Let’s divide this requirement into separate flows.
1. Registration (First time users/customer)
2. Login (Second login onwards)
1. Registration (First time users/customer):
On an eCommerce site when a customer registers to purchase a subscription via WooCommerce, the admin wants to create another account in AWS Cognito using the same credentials.
