How to configure IP Whitelisting Addon for WordPress with SAML Single Sign On (SSO) Plugin?

Configure the miniOrange IP Whitelisting Add-on with the SAML Single Sign-On Multiple IdP plugin to restrict SSO access based on trusted IP addresses. This guide covers enabling IP whitelisting, adding single or multiple IP ranges, and securing user authentication.

  • In the miniOrange SAML Single Sign-On Multiple IdP plugin (v25.1.7 and above), navigate to the Redirection & SSO Links tab.
  • Under Auto-Redirection from site, select the redirection option of your choice.

  • Now, navigate to miniOrange SAML Single Sign-On Multiple IdP >> SSO IP Whitelisting add-on.
  • Activate the Enable IP Whitelisting toggle.
  • Add the range of IP addresses in the fields.

    Note: If you want to whitelist a single IP, enter that IP in both the To and From Input fields.

  • To add multiple IP address ranges, click on the Add Range button.
  • Click on the Save button.

  • Now, when a user performs SSO on your site, the IDP attributes will get mapped to that user’s Members profile as per the mapping provided in the miniOrange Members Integrator add-on.
