How to Configure Line Login for Shopify Store?

Users may log in to your Shopify Plus or Non-Plus store with their Line account with the miniOrange Social Login Application. Customers may easily log in to your Shopify store using their Line login credentials if you enable Line Social Login on the Shopify Store. Customers are no longer required to create multiple accounts or remember several passwords. Customers may instead gain secure access to your Shopify store by just clicking the "Login with Line" button without having to input any passwords. The Social Login Application makes the login procedure easier.

Pre-requisites: App Installation

• Log in to your Shopify Admin.
• Go to Apps → Shopify App Store.
• Search for miniOrange Social Login in the App Store.
• Click Install to add the application to your store.
• Open the application from Apps to start Social Login configuration with Line.

Step-By-Step Guide to Enable Line Login on Shopify Store

Step 1: Configure Custom App for Line Login

• Go to the Line Developers Console. Either Sign up or Log in with your existing Line Developer account.

• At line developers console, choose LINE login as a channel type through dropdown.

• Fill in all the required details and make sure to select Web app as App Types.

• Check the Line developers agreement and then click on Create button.

• Go to Line Login Tab.

• Edit the Callback URL by pasting the given Callback URL.

• Click on Basic setting tab, Copy your Channel ID and Channel Secret from basic information section. We will use this Channel ID and Channel Secret in further configuration.

Step 2: Configure the miniOrange Social Login Application

• Go to your Shopify store and navigate to the App section. Click on the miniOrange Social Login application.

• You will be redirected to the Identity Providers page. Click on the Add Identity Provider button.

• Under Choose Your Protocol, select OpenId Connect 1.0 as the SSO protocol.

• Under Choose Your Identity Provider, select Custom IDP from the list.

• Paste the previously copied Channel ID and Channel Secret into the respective section. Click on Save.

Step 3: Test Connection

• After saving the IDP configuration, you will be redirected to the Test Connection step.
• Please perform Test Connection before mapping or fetching attributes, test connection ensures that your IDP configuration is correct.

• Click on the Test Connection button.

• On entering valid Line credentials you will see a pop-up window which is shown in the below screen.

• Click on the Fetch Attributes button to fetch the IDP attribute.
