Step 1: PrestaShop installation instructions :

PrestaShop is a free and open source e-commerce solution written in PHP with support for the MySQL database management framework. Step 2: How to Install PrestaShop Manually in Windows :
- In this Guide, I’m going to show you how to install PrestaShop manually in Windows step by step.
- Download Prestashop from the website link: Download PrestaShop.
- Select an appropriate profile, enter your email address and accept the terms and conditions.
- Extract the file you downloaded. From the 3 files extract the prestashop.zip in a file ‘xyz’.
- Put the file ‘xyz’ into Xampp/htdocs/ and run your xampp server.
- Open your browser and hit localhost/xyz/
- Prestashop installation dashboard will appear.
- Select your preferred language for installation and click on Next.
- Now check the terms and conditions and Click on the Next.
- Now Prestashop will check your System Compatibility and might throw some errors like this: (Ignore if you haven’t encountered any error)
- “Intl extension is not loaded” or you might get a error like “GD library is not installed”.
- To resolve this issue follow the steps below:
- Now Click on Next. And fill out all your Store Information. Then Click on Next.
- Now you will have to configure your database. Create a new database by moving to phpmyadmin.
- Now test your database configuration by clicking on “Test your database Connection now!”.
- Now your prestashop installation will start which will take some minutes.
- Now Delete the install folder from xampp/htdocs/prestashop/
- All done. Now you can access your front and Back office from here.
- Now you can access your PrestaShop store easily from the custom domain locally.

a) Goto xampp/php/ and search the file php.ini and open it with notepad.
b) Now press Ctrl+F and search “Dynamic Extensions”
c) Now remove the semicolon present in front of “extension=intl” and save the file.
d) Now its important to restart the xampp server.
e) Click on Refresh Information. It will check your system compatibility again.
f) Now you can see that “PrestaShop compatibility with your system environment has been verified!”.
