Firebase social login with Apple can be easily set up with WordPress Firebase Authentication plugin. Enabling Apple Social login on your WordPress site will allow users to login with their Apple account via Firebase instead of creating a separate account for the WordPress site and remembering a different set of credentials. 1. Steps to register an App in Apple dashboard:

• Go to https://developer.apple.com click on Account and Login with your Apple developer account.
• Click on Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles in your developer dashboard.

• In the Identifiers tab, click on + icon as shown in image below to create a new identifier.

• Select App IDs from the list and click on Continue.

• Select App option in type field and click on Continue.

• On this screen, enter Description and Bundle ID for your app. NOTE: You will get a Team ID for your app and Description value will become Primary App ID for your app as shown in image below.

• Scroll down and enable the checkbox against Sign in with Apple and click on the Edit button.

• Keep Enable as a primary App ID option selected and click on the Save button then Continue as shown in image. This step will complete the registration of your App.

2. Steps to create a key for app:

• Go to the Keys tab and click on + icon to create a new key.

• Enable the checkbox against Sign in with Apple option and click on the Configure button.

• Select a Primary App ID from the dropdown which you have created in the previous step and click on the Save button.

• Enter a suitable name for Key and click on the Continue button.

• Click on the Register button.

• Now click on the Download button on next Screen which will download the file containing the Key as shown in image below. You will also get Key ID in this step.

• Go to your firebase project and click on the Authentication tab on left side of screen and then Sign-in method as shown below.

• Select Apple option from the list of available sign-in options.

• Click on Enable option to configure the Apple sign-in method.

• On the same page you will get the redirect URL for Apple App and Authorized domains for your firebase project.

3. Steps to register a service with an app:

• Now go to your Apple dashboard again and click on the Identifiers tab and create a new Service ID as shown below.

• Enter a suitable Description and identifier for your service and click on the Continue button. This identifier value is used as a Service ID in the next step.

• Click on your newly created Service as shown in image below.

• Enable the checkbox against Sign in with Apple and click on the Configure button.

• Now select your Primary App ID from the dropdown and enter the redirect URL and authorized domains you got from the firebase project from previous steps then click on Next.

• Confirm all the configurations and click on Done then click on Continue. This will complete the registration of Sign in with Apple Service for your firebase project.

• Now go back to firebase-apple configuration and enter all the required fields which you got from previous steps and click on Save. Refer the following image for details.

4: Complete the setup of Firebase Authentication plugin:

• Go to the Firebase Authentication plugin on your wordpress dashboard in which you have configured this firebase project.

• In the Advanced settings tab, select Apple from the list of available Firebase Authentication Method. Also enable the option to Show login button on WP login page and click on Save Settings.

• Now your wp-login page will display a button to Login with Apple.

• Clicking on the button will enable the users to login to your wordpress site with their Apple credentials.
