MeritHub Single Sign-On (SSO) With WordPress as OAuth Server

WordPress OAuth Server plugin enables Single Sign-On (SSO) into the MeritHub app using your WordPress username and password. Once you configure the MeritHub with WP OAuth Server plugin, you can login to your MeritHub application using WP credentials. OAuth Server plugin also allows you to send custom WordPress user attributes to your MeritHub app as per your requirements. Download And Installation

  • Log into your WordPress instance as an admin.
  • Go to the WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins and click on Add New.
  • Search for a WordPress OAuth Server Single Sign-On (SSO) plugin and click on Install Now.
  • Once installed click on Activate.

Steps to configure WordPress Login into MeritHub

1. Setup WordPress as OAuth Server

  • Go to miniOrange OAuth Server on the left side menu and click on Custom OAuth 2.0 client button to create a new client.
  • OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- MeritHub add client
  • Enter Client name as you want. Enter the Redirect/Callback URL that a redirect URL will be provided by MeritHub: https://merithub.com/sso/<merithubclientid> and click on Save Client button.
  • OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- MeritHub Authorized Redirect URI
  • Note down Client ID, Client Secret and Endpoints to configure in your OAuth Client.
  • OAuth server Single Sign-On(SSO)WordPress- MeritHub client credentials

2. Setup MeritHub as OAuth Client

  • To get started, you'll need to provide following data which you will get from your OAuth Server plugin to MeritHub:
  • Client ID : Click Here
    Client Secret : Click Here
    Scope: profile openid email
    Authorize Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/authorize
    Access Token Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/token
    UserInfo Endpoint: https://<your-wordpress-domain>/wp-json/moserver/resource
  • To verify the SSO is setup go to your merithub login URL.
