WordPress to Nextcloud User sync

Steps to configure WordPress Users to NextCloud:

1. Configure Remote User Sync plugin

Login to your NextCloud Sever Admin account.
In the Remote User Sync plugin for WordPress, navigate to the Configuration tab and click on Add New Remote server.

In the configuration tab provide a suitable name for the Remote Server and select NextCloud under Select Remote Server dropdown.

Now provide the URL that you copied from NextCloud for Tableau URL of the Remote Server then proceed by entering the Usernme & Password and click on Save.

Note : We store encrypted passwords in the WordPress database.

You’ll be then redirected to the configuration page, before syncing you need to complete the attribute mapping. Click on the attribute mapping shown below.

Select the appropriate mapping as shown below from the dropdown and click on Save, then go back to the configuration page by clicking the Back to Remote Server List button.

Manual Remote User Syncing

In the left pane click on the Users tab.

Select the users which you want to sync in NextCloud, then goto Bulk actions on the top and select Sync Users to Remote Server dropdown button and click Apply.

You would be prompted with the success message for the users that are synced on NextCloud.

Realtime Remote User Syncing

In real-time provisioning the user is created in NextCloud as well, when a new user is created in WordPress. To achieve this enable the Create User in Remote when User is created in WordPress toggle.

To check if the users are synced in real-time, navigate to your NextCloud account and try to referesh the Users tab. This will display the users that are synced in real time.
