How to setup OTP Verification for Contact Form 7?

Contact Form 7 is a very popular plugin which is used to create, manage, customize contact forms. OTP Verification Plugin verifies Mobile Number of users by sending OTP Verification code before submitting Contact Form. The purpose of this guide is to help you setup OTP Verification for your Contact Form 7.

Follow these steps to setup OTP Verification on Contact form 7

1. Setup Phone Verification for Contact form 7

  • Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Contact Form 7 form from the list.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enable contact form 7 - contact form
  • Enable checkbox next to Contact form 7 contact form.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enable contact form 7 - contact form
  • Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - Enable Phone verification
  • Click on Edit option of your form.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - Click edit link
  • Copy the code as mentioned in the form settings page.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - Copy phone field code
  • Place it in the Contact Form 7 template to show Verify Phone button and field.
  • Replace {FORM_ID} with the Contact Form 7 Form ID
  • Then click on the Save button.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - click Save button
  • Then go to the forms settings page and click on the Save Settings button.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - Click Save setting button
  • Go to your Contact form 7 and see the added Phone Verification field.
  • Fill all the required field and Click on Click here to verify your Phone button.
  • Enter the OTP received in the Verification Field and click on Submit button.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - See Phone Verification field
  • Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

2. Setup Email Verification for Contact form 7

  • Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Contact Form 7 form from the list.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enable contact form 7 - contact form
  • Enable checkbox next to Contact form 7 contact form.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enable contact form 7 - contact form
  • Enable Email verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enable email verifiction
  • Click on Edit option of your form.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Click edit
  • Copy the code as mentioned in the form settings page.
    • Contact form 7 SMS Verification - Copy the Email field code
  • Place it in the Contact Form 7 template to show Verify your email button and field.
  • Replace "{FORM_ID}" with the Contact Form 7 Form ID.
  • Then click on the Save button.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Enter form ID
  • Now copy the Email Field name.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Copy Email field name
  • Then go to the forms settings page.
  • Enter the name of the email field below and click on the Save Settings button.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification -Enter email field name
  • Go to your Contact form 7 and see the added Email Verification field.
  • Fill all the required field and Click on Click here to verify your email button.
  • Enter the OTP received in the Verification Field and click on Submit button.
    • Contact form 7 OTP Verification - Click submit button
  • Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.
