OTP Verification For Custom User Registration Form Builder (Registration Magic)

Follow these steps to setup OTP Verification on Custom User Registration Form Builder (Registration Magic)

1. Setup Phone Verification for Custom User Registration Form Builder (Registration Magic)

• Go to the "Forms" tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
• Search and select "Custom User Registration Form Builder" from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to "Custom User Registration Form Builder".

• Choose "Enable Phone verification".
• click on the "Save Settings" button.

• Select your "Form" from the list (Note the Form ID) and Click on "Fields."

• Click on "Add Field" to add a Phone or Email field if it doesn't already exist.
• Go to the settings of the phone field.

• Enter the name of the phone field label.

• Go to Additional Settings, Make sure to keep the Rule set to "Required."

• Enable "Define New User Meta Key" under "Add Field to WordPress User Profile" section.
• Enter the meta key as "rm_phone_number."
• Click on "Save" button to save your settings.

• Go back to form settings and add the Form ID and Phone Field Label and click on "Save Settings" button.

• Go to your Custom User Registration Form Builder Registration Page. Fill all fields of the form and click on "Submit."

• A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received and click on "Validate OTP."


1.1. Prevent users from using duplicate phone number

• Just enable the "Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts" option.

2. Setup Email Verification for Custom User Registration Form Builder (Registration Magic)

• Go to the "Forms" tab in the OTP Verification plugin. Then, search and select "Custom User Registration Form Builder" from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to Custom User Registration Form Builder.

• Choose "enable email verification." Then, click on the "Save Settings" button.

• Select your "Form" from the list (Note the Form ID) and Click on "Fields."

• Click on "Add Field" to add a Email field if it doesn't already exist. Choose Text field from the list.
• Go to the settings of the phone field.

• Enter the name of the email field label.
• Click on save button to "Save" your settings.

• Go back to form settings and add the FormID, Email or Phone Field Label and click on "Save Settings" button.

• Go to your Custom User Registration Form Builder Registration Page. Fill all fields of the form and click on "Submit."

• A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received on your email and click on "Validate OTP."

3. Allow users select between Phone or Email Verification for Custom User Registration Form Builder (Registration Magic)

• Go to the "Forms" tab in the OTP Verification plugin. Then, search and select "Custom User Registration Form Builder" from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to "Custom User Registration Form Builder."

• Choose "Let the user choose." Then, click on the "Save Settings" button.
• Enter the Form ID,Email field label and Phone field label name.
• Click on "Save Settings" button to save your settings.

• Go to your Custom User Registration Form Builder Registration Page. Fill all fields of the form and click on "Submit."

• Select on of the method to verify your account and OTP will be sent to the selected method.

• A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received on your email and click on "Validate OTP."
