How to setup OTP Verification for Everest Contact Form?

Getting started with the setup

Let's explore how to set up the Everest Contact form for the OTP Verification plugin.

OTP Verification on Everest Contact Form

You can verify the users through the Phone or Email verification method.

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Everest Contact form form from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to Everest Contact form.

Email Verification

• Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Everest Contact Form Template from the list and note the Form ID.
• Then click on the Edit link.

• Add new Phone field if it doesn't already exist. (Disable the Country Code Dropdown setting from Everest forms plugin.)
• Ensure that the field is marked as required and note the Field ID for the phone number (e.g., DXnfA1qRhc-1).

• Add a single line text field where users will enter the verification code.
• Make sure to mark the field as required.
• Note the Field ID of Verification code (For Example - D9EXQHQ7jT-2) and click on the Save button.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, Phone field ID and Verification field ID.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Everest Contact form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to send OTP.
• Enter the OTP received in the Verification Field and click on the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

• Enable Email verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Everest Contact Form Template from the list note the Form ID.
• Then click on the Edit link.

• Add new Email field if it doesn't already exist.
• Ensure that the field is marked as required and note the Field ID of email (e.g., email).

• Add a single line text field where users will enter the verification code.
• Make sure to mark the field as required.
• Note the Field ID of Verification code (For Example - LxI14XhipT-3) and click on the Save button.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, Email field ID and Verification field ID.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Everest Contact form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to send OTP.
• Enter the OTP received in the Verification Field and click on the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

Change verification button text

You can change the text on the verification button.

• Go to the Form settings page.
• Enter the text you want to use for the verification button and click on the Save Settings button.
