How to setup OTP Verification for WPForms?

Pre-requisites : Download And Installation

• Download our miniOrange OTP Verification plugin and WPForms on your WordPress website.

Getting started with the setup

Let's explore how to set up the WPForms for the OTP Verification plugin.

OTP Verification on WPForms

You can verify the users through the Phone or Email verification method.

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select WPForms from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to WPForms contact form.

Phone Verification
Email Verification

• Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your WPForms Template from the list and note the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Phone field if it doesn’t already exist. Enter the Name and Description for the new field.
• Ensure that the Phone field is set to the International format and marked as required.
• Note the label for the Phone field.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, and Phone Field Label.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your WPForm page, fill all the required field and click on Send OTP.

• Enter the OTP received on the phone. OTP will be sent to the phone number associated with that user.
• Then, click on the Verify OTP button.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

• Enable Email Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your WPForms Template from the list and note the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Email field if it doesn’t already exist. Enter the Name and Description for the new field.
• Ensure the email field is marked as required.
• Note the label for the Email field.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, and Email Field Label.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your WPForm page, fill all the required field and click on Send OTP.

• Enter the OTP received on your email. OTP will be sent to your email associated with that user.
• Then, click on the Verify OTP button.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

Change buttons text

You can change the text on the Send OTP button, Enter OTP Field Text, and Verify OTP button text.

• Go to the Form settings page.
• Enter the text you want to use for the Send OTP button, Enter OTP Field Text, and Verify OTP button text.
• Click on the Save Settings button.
