How to setup OTP Verification for Formidable Forms?

Pre-requisites : Download And Installation

• Download our miniOrange OTP Verification plugin and Formidable Forms on your WordPress website.

Getting started with the setup

Let's explore how to set up the Formidable Form for the OTP Verification plugin.

OTP Verification on Formidable Form

You can verify the users through the Phone or Email verification method.

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Formidable Forms from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to Formidable Forms contact form.

Email Verification

• Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Formidable Form Template from the list and note to the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Phone field if it doesn’t already exist.
• Add a Verification code field.
• Then, click on the Update button.

• Note the IDs of the Phone field and the Verification field.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, Phone Field ID, and Verification Field ID.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Formidable Form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to Send OTP.

• Enter the OTP received on the phone. OTP will be sent to the phone number associated with that user.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

• Enable Email Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Formidable Form Template from the list and note to the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Email field if it doesn’t already exist.
• Add a Verification code field.
• Then, click on the Update button.

• Note the IDs of the Email field and the Verification field.

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, Email Field ID, and Verification Field ID.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Formidable Form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to Send OTP.

• Enter the OTP received on your Email.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

Change verification button text

You can change the text on the verification button.

• Go to the Form settings page.
• Enter the text you want to use for the verification button and click on the Save Settings button.
