The Magento Passwordless Login extension Magento Passwordless Authentication extension allows verifying a user's identity that does not require the use of a password. Your store visitors can seamlessly login into Magento just by verifying the OTP received on their Email ID or Mobile Number.

Enable your store customers to securely log into your store. Allow users to Login with Phone Number and Email ID to boost your store’s registration rate and improve customer experience. Passwordless Login extension works by offering a seamless registration and login method that can substitute the traditional method of email and password login. Installation Steps

1. Install the extension in Magento

• Download the miniOrange Mobile/Email Passwordless Login extension from Magento Marketplace.
• Run the following command on command prompt to enable the module: php bin/magento setup:upgrade.
• Run the command composer require {extension name on magento marketplace} : {version of the extension}
• Compile the setup using command: php bin/magento setup:di:compile.
• Log in to the Magento 2 backend to see the active module.

2. Setup the extension in Magento

• After installing the Passwordless Login extension. Log in to Magento Backend and click on Passwordless Login in the navigation panel.

• Go to the Passwordless Login Settings tab.

• Click on the checkbox to enable the passwordless login option.

• You can also customize the Email and SMS template that will be delivered to your customers containing the OTP.

• Click on the Save button to save the settings.

• You will now see that a passwordless login button has been enabled on your customer front page. When a customer clicks on the passwordless login button he will be shown a pop-up where he can enter the mobile number or email address and will receive an OTP on his mobile number or email address. Once the OTP is verified the customer will be logged into your Magento store.
