Guide to configure Trello SSO with WordPress (WP)

1. Setup Trello as SP (Service Provider)

• Navigate to the IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress IDP plugin.
• Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL /XML or endpoints like IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate for SP configuration.



• Open a new browser tab or window, log in to your Trello account as Account Admin.
• From the Enterprise Dashboard, click on SSO Setup in the left side panel, under the Security section.



• Under SSO Setup tab, enter the following information from the IDP Metadata tab of the plugin.

Identity Provider Login URL	You can find this in IDP Metadata as SAML Login URL.
SAML Certificate	Download the Certificate from IDP Metadata, Open it in notepad. Copy and paste the content here.



• Below that, note Enterprise's ACS or Consume URL, Identifier URL, and the Trello Login URL, as well as the SAML attributes that you need while configuring WordPress as IDP.

2. Configure WordPress (WP) as IdP (Identity Provider)

• Open the WordPress site.
• Navigate to the Service Provider tab of the WordPress IDP plugin.
• Enter the values corresponding to the information Trello. Refer to the table below.

Service Provider Name	Trello
SP Entity ID or Issuer	You can find this in SSO setup tab as Identifier URL in Trello.
ACS URL	You can find this in SSO setup tab as Consume URL in Trello.
NameID Format	urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:persistent
Assertion Signed	Check to sign the SAML Assertion.


• Click on the Save button to save your configurations.

3. Attribute Mapping (This is a premium feature)

• In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
• In the User Attributes section, enter the following information and click on Save .

Name	User Meta Data
User.Email	user_email
User.FirstName	first_name
User.LastName	last_name
