How to setup OTP Verification for Tutor LMS Student Registration Form?

Let's explore how to setup Tutor LMS Student Registration form for the OTP Verification plugin.

You can verify the Users through the Phone or Email verification method.

  • Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin, then search and select Tutor LMS Student Registration Form from the list.

  • Enable checkbox next to Tutor LMS Student Registration Form.

  • Enable the radio button for Phone Verification.
  • Click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to your registration page, fill all the required fields and click on Register.

  • A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received and click on the Validate OTP button.
  • After successful OTP verification, the registration process will be complete.

Prevent users from using duplicate phone number
  • Enable the radio button for Phone Verification.
  • To prevent users from using the same phone number across multiple accounts, select the checkbox 'Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts'.
  • Then, click on the Save Settings button.

On-Page Verification

In this setting, the user can be verified directly on the form without showing a pop-up.

  • Select the checkbox ‘Do not show a popup. Validate the user on the form itself’.
  • Then click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to your registration page, Phone OTP verifcation field should be added on the Register Page itself.
  • Enter your phone number in the Phone Number field. Click on the Click Here to send OTP button to receive OTP.

  • Fill up all the required details along with the received OTP and click on the Register button.
  • After successful OTP verification the registration process will be complete.
  • Enable the radio button for Email Verification.
  • Click on the Save Settings button.

  • Enter your email in the E-mail field. Click on the Click Here to send OTP button to receive OTP.

  • Fill up all the required details along with the received OTP and click on the Register button.
  • After successful OTP verification the registration process will be complete.

In this setting, during registration, the user will see both Phone Verification and Email Verification options and can choose either method to complete the verification.

  • Enable the radio button for option Let the User Choose.
  • To prevent users from using the same phone number across multiple accounts, select the checkbox 'Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts'.
  • Then, click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to your registration page, fill all the required fields and click on Register.

  • The customer will be successfully registered to their account by selecting any one of the following methods.
