How to setup OTP Verification for Ultimate Member Password Reset Form?

• Enable the radio button for Phone Verification.

• Enter the metaKey in the Phone User Meta key field, against which the phone number is stored for all your users.
• If you do not know the meta key, it is generally mobile_number for mobile numbers in Ultimate member plugin.
• Click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Ultimate Member Password Reset form page and enter your Email, Username, and Phone.
• Then, click on the Send OTP button.

• Enter the verification code sent to your phone number in the verification field.
• Click on the Verify and Reset Password used in the previous step.

Phone Number Required for Reset

With this setting enabled, users will only be able to reset their password using their phone number, and password reset through username or email will be blocked.

• Select the checkbox ‘Use Only Phone number. Do not allow username or email to reset password’.
• Click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Ultimate Member Password Reset page and enter your phone number.
• Then, click on the Send OTP button.

• After successful OTP verification, you will be able to reset your password.
