ClicData SSO Login with WordPress (IDP) | ClicData WordPress SSO

Our WordPress Single Sign-On (SSO) Plugin for ClicData achieves secure SAML SSO login into ClicData using your WordPress credentials. Follow this setup guide to configure ClicData as a SAML Service Provider (SP) and WordPress as your Identity Provider (IDP) for seamless ClicData WordPress SSO Login.

Note: Premium Version of WP as SAML IDP plugin is required to set up SSO.


To integrate the WordPress site as an Identity Provider, you will need to install the miniOrange Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin:

  • Go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab.
  • Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL /XML Metadata or endpoints like IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate for SP configuration.

  • In a new browser window, login to your ClicData account as an Administrator.
  • You will be represented with the Home screen of ClicData.
  • In the left-top corner, click on the menu button.
  • Under the Account section, click on Account Settings option.

  • In the Account Settings tab, click on Single Sign-On.

  • Enable Single Sign-On by sliding a button and select SAML 2.0 as the Identity Provider type.

Upload IDP Metadata

  • In the SAML Configuration section, enter the required endpoints from the IDP Metadata tab of the plugin.
Entity Identifier Copy and paste IDP Entity ID/Issuer
SignOn URL Copy and paste SAML Login URL
Logout URL Copy and paste SAML Logout URL
  • You can download the IDP Metadata XML file and then upload in the ClicData (Service Provider) side by clicking on the Import Identity Provider Metadata option.

  • In the User Attributes section, fill in the fields as you configured them in the plugin section.

  • Keep the Default role of new users to Viewers.

You have successfully configured ClicData as Service Provider.

  • In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Service Provider tab and enter the values corresponding to the information from ClicData.

SP Entity ID or Issuer Copy and paste the SAML Entity ID from ClicData.
ACS URL Copy and paste the ACS URL from ClicData.
NameID Format urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

  • Click on the Save button to save your configuration.
  • In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
  • In the User Attributes section, enter the following information and click on Save.
  • You can also add more attributes by clicking on + sign to add attributes.

  • In the CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES section, set the CanSignIn flag as yes.

  • Click on validate at the bottom, it will redirect you to the WordPress page where user have to enter the credentials and then it will redirect back to the ClicData.

Note: For the validation to work, the current user logged in ClicData must be present in the Wordpress user directory of people or in one of their integrations with the exact same email address.


  • On authentication, the Validation should turn to green.
