How to set up OTP Verification for Fluent Form?

Fluent form allows you to create Forms based on your requirements. Using the fluent form plugin, forms of all kinds can be constructed, from contact forms and product orders to conversational forms, quizzes, surveys, and so on. The miniOrange OTP Verification plugin allows you to set up SMS and email verification to authenticate your users on fluent forms and other forms. The goal of this setup guide is to assist you set up OTP verification via phone and email on the Fluent form.

Let's explore how to set up the Fluent form for the OTP Verification plugin.

You can verify the users through the Phone or Email verification method.

  • Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Fluent form form from the list.

  • Enable checkbox next to Fluent form.

  • Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

  • Select your Fluent Form Template from the list and note the Form ID.
  • Then click on the Edit link.

  • Edit the phone field, navigate to the Advanced section under Input Customization, and copy the Name attribute.

  • Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, and Phone Field Name Attribute.
  • After that click on the Save Settings button.

  • Go to your Fluent form page, fill all the required field and click on Send OTP.

  • Enter the OTP received on the phone. OTP will be sent to the phone number associated with that user.
  • Enter the OTP then click on Submit Form button.

  • Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.
